About Event

Wegathr Wellness Weekend Retreat at Kshemavana – 10–11 October 2026
About the Retreat
Step Away, Slow Down and Reconnect

Step away from the usual weekend routine and spend two days immersed in a guided wellness retreat at Kshemavana, a 23-acre wellness centre on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

Wegathr's Wellness Weekend returns on 10–11 October 2026, bringing back the same lead facilitator, venue and two-day programme featured in the first Bengaluru edition.

Designed as a small-group retreat, the experience brings together a thoughtfully planned mix of breath-led movement, sound healing, group games, Yin yoga, Hatha yoga with live handpan music, guided meditation and an aqua sound bath.

The programme is balanced with time between sessions to eat, walk, rest and settle in, allowing participants to experience the retreat without the feeling of a tightly packed schedule.

Your booking includes a one-night stay at Kshemavana, vegetarian meals listed in the itinerary, all scheduled retreat sessions, and the use of yoga mats and practice props.

The evening also includes a bonfire, weather permitting, adding a relaxed communal element to the retreat experience.

No previous yoga or meditation experience is required. You can attend alone or come with someone you know.

The retreat is intentionally limited to up to 20 participants, with the Wegathr team present on site throughout the experience.

Two days to pause, breathe, move, listen, rest and reconnect.

A Two-Day Guided Wellness Experience

The Wegathr Wellness Weekend is structured as a guided retreat rather than a conventional leisure stay.

Across the two days, participants move through a selection of wellness practices designed to create variety in the experience. Sessions range from movement-based practices and yoga to sound-focused experiences, meditation and group activities.

The programme also leaves time between sessions so participants can eat, take a walk, rest or simply spend time settling into the surroundings.

This balance of guided activities and personal downtime forms an important part of the retreat format.

Wellness Activities and Sessions
Breath-Led Movement

The retreat includes breath-led movement, creating an opportunity to combine conscious breathing with guided physical movement.

Sound Healing

Participants can experience sound healing as part of the scheduled wellness programme, introducing a different sensory dimension to the retreat.

Group Games

The programme also includes group games, creating opportunities for connection and interaction among participants.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga forms part of the retreat schedule, offering a slower-paced yoga experience within the wider programme.

Hatha Yoga with Live Handpan Music

Experience Hatha yoga accompanied by live handpan music, combining guided yoga practice with live instrumental sound.

Guided Meditation

The retreat includes guided meditation, providing dedicated time for quiet reflection and mindful practice.

Aqua Sound Bath

An aqua sound bath is also part of the programme, adding another sound-based experience to the retreat.

Together, these activities create a varied two-day schedule that moves between movement, stillness, sound and social connection.

Time to Eat, Walk, Rest and Settle In

Wellness retreats are not only about scheduled sessions. The Wegathr programme intentionally includes time between activities so participants can slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

There is space to:

Eat: Enjoy the vegetarian meals included in the itinerary.

Walk: Take time to move around the retreat setting between sessions.

Rest: Use the breaks to relax and recharge.

Settle In: Ease into the retreat environment without rushing from one activity to another.

This balance is intended to make the two-day experience feel spacious while keeping participants engaged with the planned programme.

Stay at Kshemavana

The retreat takes place at Kshemavana, a 23-acre wellness centre on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

The booking includes a one-night stay at Kshemavana, allowing participants to remain at the retreat venue across the two-day experience rather than travelling back and forth.

The accommodation forms part of the overall retreat package along with the scheduled sessions and vegetarian meals listed in the itinerary.

What Your Booking Includes

The retreat booking includes:

One-Night Stay

Accommodation for one night at Kshemavana is included.

Vegetarian Meals

The booking includes the vegetarian meals listed in the retreat itinerary.

All Scheduled Retreat Sessions

Participants have access to all the planned wellness sessions included in the programme.

Yoga Mats and Practice Props

The booking includes the use of yoga mats, blocks and knee pads.

Together, these inclusions are designed to provide the essential components of the retreat experience in one booking.

What Is Not Included

Certain expenses and activities are outside the retreat package.

The following are not included:

Travel to and from Kshemavana
Personal expenses
Kshemavana spa consultations or treatments
Activities not listed in the retreat programme

Participants should plan their travel arrangements and any additional personal expenses separately.

The retreat is designed as a scheduled small-group wellness experience, not a spa stay.

No Previous Experience Required

You do not need prior experience in yoga, meditation, sound healing or wellness retreats to participate.

The experience is designed to be accessible to participants who are new to these practices as well as those who already have some familiarity with them.

Participants are encouraged to engage with the programme at a level that feels appropriate for them.

If an activity does not feel right, participants may sit out that activity after informing a facilitator or member of the Wegathr team.

A Small-Group Retreat

The Wellness Weekend is intentionally limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

The smaller group size helps preserve the retreat's intimate and community-oriented character while giving the Wegathr team the opportunity to remain present throughout the experience.

The Wegathr team will be on site throughout the retreat, providing continuity and support during the scheduled programme.

Come Alone or with Someone You Know

You do not need to attend as part of a group.

The retreat welcomes participants who choose to come alone, as well as those who prefer to attend with a friend, partner or someone they already know.

The inclusion of group activities and shared sessions creates opportunities to interact with other participants while still allowing individuals to have their own personal retreat experience.

Evening Bonfire

The evening programme also includes a bonfire, weather permitting.

The bonfire provides an opportunity to unwind after the day's scheduled activities and spend relaxed time with fellow participants.

Please note that the bonfire is subject to weather conditions and may therefore be affected by circumstances outside the organiser's control.
