About Event

Rehnuma – A Sufi Epiphany | Varsha Singh Dhanoa Live in Concert
About the Event

Step into the evocative and soulful world of Sufi music with Varsha Singh Dhanoa, live in concert, with Rehnuma – A Sufi Epiphany.

Designed as an immersive musical experience, Rehnuma takes audiences on a journey through the poetry, philosophy, and timeless melodies of the Sufi tradition. The music explores themes that have resonated across generations — love, longing, surrender, spiritual connection, and the eternal search for the divine.

With her powerful yet deeply expressive voice, Varsha Singh Dhanoa brings her distinctive interpretation to an evening of Sufi compositions. Accompanied by a stellar ensemble of musicians, she creates an atmosphere where poetry and melody come together to explore the emotional and spiritual dimensions of Sufi music.

Rather than simply presenting a collection of songs, Rehnuma is conceived as a thoughtfully curated musical experience that invites audiences to pause, listen, reflect, and connect with the timeless essence of the tradition.

Varsha Singh Dhanoa Live

At the heart of Rehnuma is Varsha Singh Dhanoa, whose expressive vocal style forms the centrepiece of the evening.

Her performance brings together the emotional depth of Sufi compositions with a distinctive contemporary stage presentation. Through nuanced vocals and an evocative interpretation of the repertoire, Varsha guides the audience through melodies shaped by centuries of poetic and musical tradition.

The evening is supported by a stellar ensemble of musicians, adding depth and texture to the live performance.

Together, the vocals and instrumental ensemble create an immersive soundscape for audiences seeking an intimate and meaningful Sufi music experience.

A Musical Journey Through Sufi Tradition

Sufi music has long served as a meeting point between poetry, philosophy, devotion, and music. Its compositions often explore the human experience of searching, yearning, surrendering, and moving towards a deeper understanding of the divine.

Rehnuma draws from this rich tradition and presents an evening centred around its timeless emotional vocabulary.

Audiences can expect a musical journey exploring:

Love and longing
Surrender and devotion
Spiritual seeking
Sufi poetry
Timeless melodies
Philosophical reflections
The search for the divine

The combination of evocative poetry, expressive vocals, and live instrumentation gives the evening its distinctive character.
