The Humming Tree has been an important part of Bengaluru's independent music and cultural ecosystem. Originally active from 2013 to 2019, the venue became known as a grassroots platform supporting independent music, art, performances, and creative communities.

In 2026, The Humming Tree returns in a brand-new, purpose-designed space in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Spread across approximately 12,000 sq. ft., the new venue features a 600+ capacity performance space, advanced sound and lighting systems, and a diverse food and beverage offering.
