About Event

Pilates is a physical conditioning method developed by Joseph and Clara Pilates in the 1920s and expands to include its evolution and interpretation by Pilates Master Ron Fletcher. He was a student of the modern dancer and choreographer Martha graham.

Fletcher Pilates is unique while being true to the fundamentals of classical pilates. Apart from the Mat work, Ron fletcher was the first to work completely into standing and included movement across the floor clearly inspired by dance. Fletcher towelwork, percussive breathing technique, Barrework and Floorwork are the other equipment-less work in this school of pilates.

Pilates is not only about mind and body awareness and control, but it also builds enough awareness in the body to avoid injuries. Pilates centres you from within and works from inside out physically as well. It helps in supporting your day to day activity efficiently by working on the smallest of muscles which you do not realise need work, while correcting your posture with length, strength and confidence.

This Module focuses on different aspects and needs of the body per week, giving you a sense of something new every session.
