What Is the Jhume Gori Bollywood Navratri Bootcamp?

Jhume Gori is a Bollywood Navratri dance bootcamp created for people who want to enjoy the festive season through music and movement.

The sessions focus on learning choreography in a fun and energetic environment. Instead of requiring participants to have previous dance training, the bootcamp is designed to welcome both beginners and dance enthusiasts.

The combination of Bollywood music and Navratri celebrations creates an atmosphere where participants can learn new moves while enjoying the communal energy of dancing together.

The workshop is not only about learning choreography. It also aims to help participants become more comfortable performing, expressing themselves through movement and enjoying dance without hesitation.

A Two-Day Dance Experience

The Jhume Gori bootcamp takes place across two days — September 26th and September 27th.

Each day's session is 2 hours long, giving participants dedicated time to learn and practise the choreography.

An important point for participants to note is that the ticket covers both days of the bootcamp. Attendance is required on both September 26th and September 27th, so the experience is designed as a complete two-day programme rather than separate single-day sessions.

Participants should therefore plan their schedules accordingly and ensure they are available for both days.

Learn Bollywood Choreography

The central focus of the bootcamp is fun and energetic Bollywood choreography.

Participants can learn dance movements inspired by the energy and style of Bollywood while working through choreography in a guided workshop environment.

The sessions are intended to be engaging and approachable, allowing participants to gradually become more comfortable with the movements and performance.

Whether you are discovering Bollywood dance for the first time or simply want to add some new moves to your repertoire, the workshop provides an opportunity to dance, practise and perform.

Perfect for Beginners and Dance Enthusiasts

One of the key features of Jhume Gori is its accessibility.

The bootcamp is suitable for beginners as well as dance enthusiasts. You do not have to consider yourself a trained dancer to participate. The experience is designed around learning, practising and having fun.

For beginners, the sessions offer an opportunity to explore Bollywood dance in a supportive workshop format. For more experienced dance enthusiasts, the bootcamp provides a chance to learn new choreography while celebrating the festive season.

The emphasis throughout the experience is on participation, creativity and enjoyment.

Create Memorable Reels

In addition to learning choreography, participants can enjoy the opportunity to create memorable reels while dancing.

The combination of Bollywood music, festive energy and group choreography provides a lively backdrop for capturing dance moments and creating content with friends or fellow participants.

For anyone who enjoys dance reels and social media content, this adds another fun element to the overall bootcamp experience.

Build Confidence Through Dance

Dance can be a powerful way to become more comfortable with movement and performance.

At Jhume Gori, participants will work through choreography over the two-day programme with the aim of building greater confidence. The bootcamp specifically highlights the goal of helping participants gain the confidence to perform in front of any audience.

The focus is not solely on getting every movement perfect. It is also about becoming comfortable expressing yourself, participating in the choreography and enjoying the experience of performing.

Celebrate Navratri with Bollywood Vibes

Navratri is a festive time filled with music, movement and celebration. Jhume Gori brings that spirit into a Bollywood-focused dance workshop.
