Learn Garba Basics and a Main Choreography

The workshop combines two key elements: basic Garba steps and one main choreography.

Learning the basic steps provides participants with a foundation for understanding the movement and rhythm of Garba. These fundamentals can then be brought together through the featured choreography, allowing everyone to experience how individual steps become part of a coordinated dance routine.

The session is centred on active participation, giving attendees the opportunity to move along with the music and experience the rhythm of Garba in a group environment.

Dance to Favourite Garba and Navratri Numbers

Music is an essential part of the Garba experience, and the workshop features a selection of popular numbers to accompany the session.

Participants can expect to dance to:

Ramti Ave
A festive number that adds to the celebratory mood of the workshop.

Dholida
A lively track that brings strong rhythmic energy to the dance experience.

Khalasi
One of the featured numbers for participants to enjoy while learning and practising the choreography.

Chhogoda Tara
A familiar festive favourite that complements the traditional Navratri atmosphere.

Jhum Re Gori
Another energetic selection included in the workshop's musical experience.

Nagada Sang Dhol Baje
A high-energy song that adds to the excitement and festive character of the session.

Together, these tracks create a lively soundtrack for learning, movement and celebration.

Experience the Garba Vibe

Garba is as much about the collective experience as it is about individual movements. The circular energy, rhythmic footwork and festive music create an atmosphere that encourages people to participate and enjoy the moment.

This workshop provides an opportunity to experience that energy while learning a structured choreography.

As participants move through the basic steps and then work on the main choreography, the music helps create a rhythm-driven environment where learning and celebration come together.

The focus is on embracing the Garba vibe and enjoying the festive spirit of Navratri through dance.

Celebrate Navratri Through Dance

Navratri is a festival closely associated with music, movement and community celebrations. This Garba workshop brings those elements together in a dedicated dance experience.

Participants can immerse themselves in the festive mood by learning Garba movements, dancing to popular numbers and dressing for the occasion.

The suggested festive attire also adds to the spirit of the gathering, encouraging participants to bring their Navratri style along with their dancing energy.
