🌍 Social Design Summer School – Reimagining Urban Futures
What makes a city truly thrive? Is it the buildings, streets, and infrastructure—or the stories, relationships, traditions, and shared experiences that bring those spaces to life?
This interdisciplinary Summer School invites participants to explore the many layers of urban life through the lens of social design, artistic inquiry, and collaborative research. Bringing together students, practitioners, researchers, and creative thinkers from diverse fields, the program encourages a deeper understanding of how cities function as living ecosystems shaped by both tangible and intangible resources.
Through field-based exploration, discussion, observation, and experimentation, participants will investigate how everyday practices, community knowledge, cultural memory, environmental systems, and social interactions contribute to the character and resilience of urban spaces.
